1. Who we are

This privacy policy applies to leadspot.biz, operated by Leadspot B.V. ("Leadspot", "we", "us"). Leadspot is registered in the Netherlands and acts as the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

2. What data we collect

We collect personal data only when you provide it to us, and we keep collection to a minimum:

• Contact form submissions. When you submit the form on /contact, we collect your full name, work email, and message.
• Email correspondence. If you email hello@leadspot.biz, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) records standard server logs including IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamp. These are used for security and operational purposes.
• Cookies. See our Cookie Policy for the cookies we set.

We do not run advertising trackers, behavioural analytics scripts, or social media pixels on this site.

3. How we use your data

• To respond to your inquiry and follow up about working together.
• To maintain a record of business communications.
• To operate, secure, and improve the website.

4. Legal basis (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Contract when you become a Leadspot customer.
• Legal obligation where retention or disclosure is required by law.

5. Who we share data with

We share personal data only with the service providers we use to operate the site and our business:

• HubSpot (United States). Form submissions are sent to HubSpot, our customer relationship and marketing platform.
• Vercel (United States). Our hosting and edge-network provider.
• Google (United States). For fonts loaded via Google Fonts.

These providers act as processors on our behalf. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.

6. International transfers

Some of our processors are based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, transfers are made under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another approved transfer mechanism.

7. How long we keep data

Contact form submissions and email correspondence are retained for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and for a reasonable follow-up period afterwards. If you become a Leadspot customer, we retain records for the duration of the engagement plus the periods required by Dutch tax and commercial law (typically seven years for financial records).

8. Your rights

If the GDPR applies to your data, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data, subject to our legal retention obligations.
• Restrict or object to certain processing.
• Receive your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
• Lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the supervisory authority in your country.

9. Security

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the data we hold, including transport encryption (HTTPS), access controls on internal systems, and processor agreements with our service providers.

10. Children

This website is intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated through the website.
